From Egyptian Secrets of Albertus Magnus, Joseph H. Peterson edition:
What to give a Calving Cow, soon after Calving, to make her give much Milk.
As soon as she has calved, milk her. Warm two quarts of beer, but do not boil it. In this let a piece of butter or lard, twice as large as a hen's egg, be dissolved; also, a goodly portion of saffron, powdered, and one-half of a powdered quince. Let all this be drank by the cow at once, and she will give much milk.
The grimoire Egyptian Secrets of Albertus Magnus lists this spell.
