An Ointment for the Eyes of Horses (Spell)

From Egyptian Secrets of Albertus Magnus, Joseph H. Peterson edition:

An Ointment for the Eyes of Horses.

Take three ounces of leaf lard, one spoonful of honey; in case the eye is inflamed and looks reddish, take as much as the point of a knife of ginger; in case the eye is not red, take half of that quantity of pepper, and grease the eyes with ointment. But if no inflammation is noticeable, take only the lard and honey to anoint.

The grimoire Egyptian Secrets of Albertus Magnus lists this spell.
