An Ointment for Consumptive Limbs.
Take lard of bear, fox and badger, tallow of a deer, juniper berry, oleum philosophorum and some soap, of each two ounces, and mix a handful of corimon nettle chopped very fine, boil in wine to the thickness of a salve or ointment. Apply to the afflicted member often mornings and evenings. Approved.
