Arthur Gauntlet (Person)

Arthur Gauntlet was a 17th century cunning man who recorded his magical knowledge, which has been published as The Grimoire of Arthur Gauntlet.

Much of what little is known about him comes from the writing of astrology William Lilly, who mentions Gauntlet and Sarah Skelhorn, a scryer that Gauntlet worked with. Lilly describes Gauntlet as a "lewd fellow," but seems to have held a high opinion of Skelhorn, who he claims had "perfect sight."
